On the list
Yeap it's on the list but I think I saw a kit whilst surfin' yesterday. I've probably got something squirreled away if not as from memory there wasn't anything underneath

off the top of my head I want to say .. M6? but that's a guess / starting point for something to have in your hand when you crawl under there the first time

Splash Guard fixings
Something like these, but the engine guard looks to have more than five fixing points

Those are for the 2008 and later cars. you need black japanened ( so they dont rust) M8 bolts with TORX Head and built in washer about 15mm long , or get stainless steel ones.

Ebay Advises OK
Thanks but ordered already and Ebay and the Listing did say they'd be fine. Maybe the listing is wrong. Looks like I'll be doing a 'Return'

im sure mine were smaller than M8, happy to stand corrected obviously but that sounds too fat (only from memory though which may be hazy)
anyway only one way to find out I didn't need any edge fixings though there are already tabs with threaded holes built into the subframe (on mine at least) just bolts and washers, head type just whatever suits you really, mine are allen key because that's just what I happened to have spare in stainless Last edited by stuart bowes; Jul 28th, 2023 at 15:41. |
