Metric in 64?
My 64 PV544 is all Imperial measure (all nuts bolts NOT metric). The car was allegedly built (assembled) in Canada. Are all Volvo cars Imperial measure or is there a mix of metric?

No they are all imperial but some parts such as bosch electrics have metric threads.

Sorry classicswede, I have to disagree, the PV's were an unholy mixture of metric and imperial.
I don't know if the cars built in Canada were any more unlogical than the Swedish built cars. Chris |

Changes
Early PVs eg 444s are almost entirely metric as are the B4B and B16 engines. With the B18 engine many parts became imperial. Amazons are almost entirely imperial, although the early B16 ones must be a mix too.
