Volvo 740 2.3 carb engine wanted.

Just had a phone call from my Dad, he's somehow managed to blow up his beloved 1991 740 estate!

Lots of steam from the exhaust, running on 2/3 cylinders plus a horrible clattering noise from the engine,. I haven't seen it myself but it sounds like it could be terminal.

So, I'm after a complete 2.3 carb fed engine for a 1991 740. Cheap as poss please!

Close to Staffordshire please too!

Whoops. it's a 1989 model.

Surely there must be loads of these engines dotted about?
