V40 1.9d brakes
I'm thinking of putting Evo3,Mitsubishi Outlander,citroen c crosser front calipers discs on my 2003 v40 1.9d.
Do you have to replace the wheels also. The wheels are 16 inch. |

I can't be 100 percent, but im pretty sure that the Evo 3 used to wear 15s as standard, so you should be well ok.

Thanks just checked, they where 15 inch standard.
Citroen c crosser, peugeot 4007 calipers and carriers are a hell of a lot cheaper than the evo 3's |

How on earth did you find out that those brakes fit, that's some fine detective work, nice one

Theres a set of evo3 calipers on eBay at the moment for £130.
There's a couple of citroen/peugeot/mitsubishi calipers and carriers on eBay at the mo. for I think £37!! I looked on the euro car parts site, got the part number and crossed it on Google. It came up with other vehicles they are on.Exact same part number. The citroen c crosser, peugeot 4007 are the same as a Mitsubishi Outlander, so use the same parts(braking system),the pads are the same, but the discs are 5 stud instead of 4. Non evo parts are a hell of a lot cheaper. |

The euro part number for the evo calipers are 13369051J and 13369052J exactly the same as the Citroen and Peugeot.
I get good discount in euro as I'm in the trade,so I should get a front caliper for £40! Usually evo3 calipers are like rocking horse s@#t.But we know now what else their fitted to! Hope it helps someone. |
