Default Volvo V70 D5 - injectors coding, throttle body gasket

V70 mk3
2008 D5 185hp
146k km

Hi guys. I'm about to remove all 5 injectors and give to special Bosch service to check them. I suspect one or more needed to be rebuild. Now questions: after they rebuild them, do they need to be recoded or not? I dont want to be surprised on vacation (I will do rebuild on my vacation where I'm going) and after there are rebuild, I cannot start car.
I have Foxwell diagnostic tool, but I'm not sure can that tool coded them.

- Also quick question about windshield washer reservoir. Can be remove without removing bumper? Maybe removing wheelarch, headlight and foglight?

- after removing and cleaning throttle body, do I need to replace gasket or I can reused old one?
Many thanks guys

The windshield washer reservoir can be removed by taking the wheel arch liner off. The front fixings will be tricky to get to, so removing the headlight might help.

Throttle body gasket can be reused once only.

Pretty sure the injectors need coding with VIDA, but I’m not 100% sure on that.

If the injectors are opened or parts replaced the calibration code numbers are no longer relevant...
the engine may or may not run well .... the codes are determined by the flow rates of each individual injector . Once they are opened and "reconditioned " the flow rates will not be as they were when coded into the ecu . Unless the reconditioner can re calibrate them with new codes I'm not sure ... The differences are miniscule but do affect emissions and smoothness of the engine .

Thanks guys for the answers.

I spoke with Bosch service. They said that I get written code for each injector to be rebuild and I spoke with my mechanic guy, he knows for that and he will type all codes with diagnostic tool. It's must not be VIDA.

I saw, that gasket it's 5 euro. I will change it. I thought is heavy to find but not, there is on skandix.de.

I dont know which injector D5 has? Bosch?

Once more thanks
