Why would you need a fuel float? Can't see them failing in general?

If you are sure you need one, I can remove the one from my spare 1.9D

Hit a lump of metal on the motorway middle of the night couldn't avoid it did no damage except the float tried soldering the cables incase it was them but it's dead, tbh considering breaking the car had to much **** with it

Ahhhh, ok. In that case, that is fair enough. Are you after the float, or the complete sender unit?

Checked VIDA and it seems that the sender unit and float sensor are the same between the D4192T2, D4192T3 and D4192T4 engined cars.

Not the same with the petrol cars. I have a spare 1.9D that I am breaking, so let me know if interested

Is £20 including 1st class postage reasonable?

I am afraid MAF is gone already.

lucky escape after all. If it was the belt, things would have been much worse. PM on its way.
