I've got a full manifold, twin pipe type. Even have the first section of pipe providing amazons are the same as 1800s.

Tom - You can use manifolds from ANY B18/20 - 544/210/120/1800/140 - series.

Yeah, yeah.. of course there's a question of if you want single or dual downpipe - seperate alloy intake, early or late.. - and there might be holes for vacuum brake booster or not etc.

But basically - any manifold (meaning from any of the Volvo's mentioned) will do..

Well, it cost me £80 from Toney Barrett for the maniforld and downpipes. They were on the car for about 3 months until I replaced them with the Simons system. I think I was ripped off, and they are probably only worth ~£40.

Then again, I have no knowledge of what I 'should' have paid for them. Would be happy at £40, would consider less if people tell me I'm being silly.

I'll post photos up tonight if I get a chance. The manifold is a single casting inlet/exhaust with the twin exhaust outlets. The downpipes have that heat sheilding wrap stuff on them. The sound was nice and deap without being too loud. Much nicer than the thrum/whistle of the Simons system in my opinion.

I did have a slight leak with them, but once they were off you can easily see where it was. The problem was they had been fitted without any sealent on the clamping surface. I'm 99.9% sure they would seal fine with a small coating of goo.

The one we're talking about here is the combined inlet/exhaust manifold which is cast in one piece. It will bolt straight in and replace your single carb manifold on the B20. You should already have a twin outlet exhaust so it will match your existing pipe. Just add SU's and a hotter cam. No point in doing it without the cam upgrade.

Cheers Dude

Sorry, had a friend come around for dinner last night. Didn't get a chance to get on the PC.

I'll check with the P.A. (AKA Wife) to make sure we are around this weekend.
