Default 'Door Open' on Panel

Hi all,

Any ideas why on my friend's '02 V40's panel it says 'Door Open' when all the doors are properly shut? Don't know if it is connected, but the interior lights don't work either

most likely a broken switch on the car doors somewhere...apparantly cleaning them is quite easy aswell.

you may also wish to check the fuses, i do not know which one or where to look in that regard unfortunatly

Check the courtesy light switches on all the doors, remove each switch in turn and check the wiring on each switch, there should be two wires, one live one earth.

YOUR ALL WRONG!!!

Its as simple as a 10amp fuse located in the fuse box under the hood!!!
Its in a Yellow case that lifts out! Controls locks, int lights and door sensor!

Just replace the 10amp fuse SIMPLES!!!

Done mine today!!!
