How to remove original GPS cradle

Hello

I have a Volvo V50 - 2008 and are wondering how to remove the original Garmin GPS cradle/dock from the dashboard without making some permanent damage to the car. It does not seem to be mounted with an adhesive.

Also what will I find unerneath? A cable that can be reused for powering a new GPS maybe?

Does anybody have any experience with removal of this particular cradle/dock?

It will leave three nasty holes in the dash . why not just get a used Garmin nuvi 760 and put in the docking holder? they are very cheap now and a great device with media features , and bluetooth phone control and the car will have the traffic information receiver built into the holder too . This kit was a £300 volvo accessory at the time

Great idea. I actually found a 760 in my country for around £15 👍
