Default Replacing the Volvo badge in the grill? 2008 V70

Does anyone know how to extract the badge/emblem (it's damaged) in the early style of radiator grill? It's set into a housing that has diagonal bars running out of it to the edge of the grill, but these appear not to be attached to the grill itself. Does the badge housing just pull off with the bars, allowing the emblem to be pushed out from the back (I can see from the replacement that it's just sticky backed), or does the whole grill come out?

Many thanks.

your dealer should fix this free of charge , they have been doing it about 5 years . It must be fitted correctly with the right adhesive primer at temperatures over 20 C or it will fall off again .
