  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

Default Pilot Assist Gen 2 upgrade cost?
I was recently quote just over £300, by Volvo West London, to have the Pilot Assist upgraded to Gen 2, what’s everyone’s experience on this? Have you got it cheaper elsewhere?

Is this not done when your car is serviced?
Thought software upgrades were free?

Unfortunately its not included, so i was advised by Volvo Customer service.

I've got a quote from Newcastle Mill Volvo dealer for £244 to upgrade to Gen 2, not 3. I've been told my car is not capable to upgrade to Gen 3.

Welcome to the forum. I’m in Blyth, which you may have heard of, and I drive a 1992 940 estate. Are you in Newcastle or just near and which Volvo do you have?
