If it was important why didn’t you buy a car that had the Nav included? I would argue that Volvo should have included it in all models as standard long ago, but given that it was a £500 option at the point of purchase why do you expect a Volvo dealer to unlock it for you now for significantly less than that?

Suggest a trip to PCE may be best or perhaps try Swansea FRF if closer....

There was a case recently with a guy in Ireland who was Sam waiting turned out it was a nav model but nav wasn’t activated at pdi..... was done for free

its a se lux it has the nav button and that it has all the part just not satnav installed.

SE Lux never had nav as standard. It was a dealer installed option.

Good luck like i said there was a fella who found out it was never activated at pdi and got it sorted free...... thread should be here somewhere...

been in touch with volvo uk and apparently my car didnt come with satnav softwear,. so now im down to 2 option. 1 leave it and just use my phone second option buy a second handcd/dvd/ satnav drive and see if thet will work in my car i could get it coded at a spelists

You can buy a top of the range Garmin sat nav with lifetime free updates for a little over £200.
