Ignition, cranks but no fire
Hi
First post. I do t have VIDA. Car isxc90 2009 D5 AWD manual. Engine wouldn't start today as if it was cold. Drove for 10 mins Went to the start, ran on a little after stopped ignition. Wont start now, Engine turns over but won't fire. Battery ok Coil lights go off Got an imobikiser see manual warning on one attempt Just says urgent engine service req now with red triangle. Any help would be brilliant, I'm ok with multimeter / process scope/ hammer |

Without codes it is guessing
Hi I noticed you had not had a reply to this thread.
Unfortunately without more detail it will be difficult for anyone to help. You definitely need to get the codes read as a starting point . A generic code read may help a bit but really needs VIDA. Maybe try a post to see if anyone has Vida near you. Lots of helpful people on here. Good luck.

That means the immobiliser did not recognise your key
Right now you need a code reader to read why your engine is showing a red warning triangle with an urgent service required message.
