Default Fault codes P0101 and P1719

Hi all,

I’m new to the forum and first time posting. I have a 2011 XC90 D5 awd and have recently had a loss of power when accelerating, with a whooshing sound.
I’ve used an OBD code reader and had the following codes appear:
P0101 - mass air flow
P1719 - skip shift solenoid circuit
I had the intercooler replaced last January and have just replaced the intercooler outlet hose and the turbo resonator. My local garage did a smoke test for me which didn’t show any obvious air leaks in the intercooler system.
I’ve now had a message appear stating that the soot filter is full.
Can anyone help me with where I need to be looking for leaks next.
Thanks

A wooshing sound plus a MAF erorr plus a full particle filter all generally points to one thing:

A cracked charge air pipe, letting boost pressure out (the wooshing noise) and playing havoc with the fuel-air mix (the MAF error) resulting in over-fueling and too much soot causing a blocked particle filter (the soot filter full problem).

Inspect the charge air system again, especially the plastic pipe under the car, and the seals where it joins to the resonator piece of the pipe just after the turbo charger. You can do this yourself on your garage floor after removing the under engine splash guard.

The blocked soot filter is an alarm: do not let it get blocked up any further.
If it blocks up too much, it has to be removed and cleaner or replaced.
If you fix the charge air issue soon enough, the soot filter can become unblocked when the car does a regeneration cycle.

That sounds like you have Vida Dice in which case, if it Is set up and working correctly, you have the very best diagnostic tool for your Volvo and cannot really be bettered.
