Sensus connect ...

Switched on the car this morning and went to SatNav to get the route to our West Country offices (I like to use SatNav for traffic

) and discover that all my stored locations have disappeared overnight!

Luckily I backed most of them up when the car went for post delivery check - I advise you to always do this as twice in the last car the service destroyed all stored locations - and will be able to get them back.

Has anyone else had this on the new Sensus connect? If so any idea what the cause is - or any speculative suggestions as to the cause?

Nope, as the title says this is on the Sensus Connect

If your dealer applies either a software or maps update, they should in theory backup your stored locations to avoid just this sort of incident. However I was advised to always do this myself prior to dropping off for any updates as it's commonly forgotten.

100% agree however this has happened overnight without any updates or changes being made

All gone, which is more annoying than anything and perhaps a salutary warning to others that the need to export all their locations to a USB stick (Page 59 of Sensus Connect manual) to use ensure that they don't lose everything - I know of people who have several hundred stored locations of their factories, offices and sites - entering that lot again would be very painful!

My mistake then, I mis-read your original post. Very odd then - not something I have experienced although I make limited use of the stored locations. I'll check later and see if they are still there.

Sensus Connect has the Nav system from Nokia Maps and Sensus Connected Touch has a different system from iGo. I am talking about Sensus Connect.

The names are slightly similar but the products are very different
