Volvo ID - connected to car

Have spent that last two weeks trying to connect my car to Volvo ID via the in-car APP on Sensus Connect, yet nothing happened and no acknowledgement.

Tried again about an hour ago and when I turned on my office PC, an email was waiting for me to connect.

I now appear to be connected but not sure what happens next.

Does anyone know?

From memory that's it. Next time you go to the car it should recognise the email address as yours for Volvo ID and allow you to connect.
