Exclamation Multiple Dash Warning Lights C70 2006

Hi everyone, I just started having problems with my C70 2.4i 2006.
Multiple Dash Warning lights, starting with Power Steering, then Brakes, then Airbag light, flashing on intermittently. Then the Speedo goes to zero along with Fuel Gauge. No change to driving quality, battery checked, car serviced. 70k miles done. MOT passed.

But I do not want to drive the car as it may not be safe.
Also getting advice from Volvo is near to impossible.
Any genuinely good Volvo mechanics in North London?
I took it to mine, but he is suggesting a new DiM. I am not sure that is the issue. Seems like an electrical/connection problem. But I am guessing.

Urgent Help Appreciated.
Thanks,

Thanks,
You are right they cant just guess and throw parts at it without diagnosing first what the problem is ! This problem has been known for the last 15 years with the V50/S40/C70 every dealer will have had the problem before , there was a fix back them to replace the 3 pairs of network data terminals which go in and out of the CEM under the glove box. Volvo made available repair terminals way back in 2007. So many staff have come and go that perhaps they are all new after the higher wages recently and not yet familiar with volvo. try asking a few other volvo dealers,

Thanks so much for your response.

I actually did the sensible thing and called Stonegate in Harrogate, where I bought the car. They told me to start with the CEM etc. (They were very decent)

The problem now is where to take it to? Any decent Volvo mechanics in London? I also called the guys at Volvo Diagnostic and they were helpful. But I would have to remove the CEM myself and have no idea what I am doing!!!

Any advice appreciated.

It's not necessarily the CEM itself its the wiring terminals in the plugs which plug into the CEM
