Default Sport exhaust for C30

I have Volvo C30 2012. D3 automatic for which I plan to do stg1 remap (BSR or something like that.. most of them go to around 200bph and 70-100nm). I am also looking into changing exhaust system (main reason to get a bit more powerful/sporty sound.. preferably not very loud/annoying). I plan to keep DPF and cat. Also would change air filter (KN I guess).
Since exhaust options are only for T5, I would need to use reducer adapter for the pipes.

I am looking into exhaust options in EU and what I found is:

- BSR sportflow duplex 2.5"/63.5mm
- Ferrita sport system 2.5"/63.5mm
- Simons sport system 2.5"/63.5mm
- JT Turboback 3"/76.2mm
- KMS Firestorm 2.5"/63.5mm

I read also that milltek was a good option, but I don't see it anymore.

Which one of these (or some other would you suggest?). Another 2 questions:

1. If I went with 3", downpipe must be changed?
2. What is the original diameter of end pipe on D3? (so I can know which adapter I need to search for)

If you go 3" will most likely lose bhp instead of gain it.

Your best best would be to see if you can find a custom exhaust garage close to you who can fabricate you a catback system. Will most likely be the cheapest option.

If you do get off the off the shelf, I have previously had a Jetex / Powerflow exhaust which isnt on your list there but a great system. But have actually removed this for a custom exhaust instead.

On the D3 I think you pipe diameter will be similar to the standard T5 which is 2" I think.

Why would you want to get a 3" downpipe? this wouldnt serve you any purpose unless you have an uprated turbo or something like that. If you are looking for performance, you want the system to keep the same size with an little bends as possible to reduce any bottle necks.

It's not that I want 3"... I just don't have much knowledge so I just wrote it as an option. Did you have jetex/powerflow/custom on your 2.0D or T5? Did you ever have any of these systems on 2.0D with DPF? How was the sound difference compared to stock? Thank you
Custom exhaust garage is definitevely possibility as there are several in my city.

I have a T5 but I know others that have taken a T5 exhaust system and done custom work to make it fit theirs.

With the sound difference, I wouldn't expect too much as its a diesel ... probably make more owl noises then anything else.

But if you want a better system and want big cannons at the end then, you can just get a 2.5" system with some 3" tips and that should be fine.

I had an S40 2.0D previously but didn't bother with an exhaust upgrade, just went for an intake an remap.

I definitely don't want 3". I read a lot and I think that just adding a sport exhaust won't change the sound much. Maybe straight pipe from dpf would be best. Would that make any smoke? (I don't have and black smoke atm and I want to keep it that way). Or some other negative possibilities?
I should also find some good custom exhaust garage .. the guys that were good before are not treating customers good anymore :/.. or I came on the bad day.
