Default Dehumidifier bags

My 940 has been put to bed for the winter, and while the engine will be run every other week, it is inevitable that the cabin will become a bit damp. I was wondering what everyone is using to prevent excessive damp, mould etc from taking a hold inside? I've seen some references to Lidl dehumidifier bags on Facebook but I haven't seen any of those in my local store.

Can anyone recommend a brand from first hand experience?

Thanks as always

fill a large tub / tray with silica gel cat litter this will absorb most dampness. i use the same stuff in old socks on the dash of my car in the winter months they work really well at keeping the screen condensation free .

They are useful.

I use 2 x 1Kg ones per 745/V70. One on the dash and the other towards the back. Some are Gadlane and the others cheaper makes but all off eBay where there's a large range. I started with a smaller one from Aldi but it was too small.

If cars are outside they soon pick up moisture and you need to regularly put them in the microwave to dry out.

Most of those on ebay that can be dried in the microwave (like Bob suggested) are good and well-proven. On another site i'm on, most people use them in their cars over winter.

Another alternative is a bowl of soda crystals (sometimes called washing soda) and just put it in the most central place. This will also absorb odours, any lingering odours can also be absorbed with a fresh tea bag (not used) or three in strategic positions but put them in a container so the tea doesn't stain anything.
Tea bags are also good in the fridge to absorb smells if you missed the "Smell by date" and something has gone rotten.

avoid the moisture collectors that bm sell in a small tub these collect the moisture and deposit it in to the tub leavening behind a tub of wet slime.

These Pingi moisture absorber bags were crap and didn't do anything. The centre did turn pink and they felt a big heavier but the windows were still all fogged up.

I'm going to try putting hanging dehumidifier bags on each handle inside next.
