Default K Jet Mixture Adjustment....

Is it possible to alter the CO mixture without the exhaust gas analyser? I want to try and lean out the mixture on my 740, the plugs aren't black but the exhaust stinks! i'm getting around 25ish to the gallon but it steams a heck of a lot even when driving around...
