Default S60 T6 Common Issues

Hi All

I am currently looking at buying a 60 plate S60 T6 with approx 70k miles on the clock. I have tried to do some research into what to look out for and the things I have found to be aware of on this particular model are:
  • Trailing arm bushes (listen for creaks and groans over low speed bumps)
  • Springs can snap
  • Windscreen bonding?
  • Oil consumption issue

Firstly, can anyone think of any other common thing to check? I believe these engines have timing chains?

Secondly, regarding the oil consumption/possible engine demise, how common is this (hard to say no doubt!)? Reading forums can lead you to believe that every car will blow up, but of course most will probably be fine. I just wondered if there was a consensus on how widespread the issue could be. Also, would the mileage indicate that any problems should already have manifested themselves?

Lastly, how do people find the ride quality of the non-Rdesign? I've read some reviews praising the comfort, while others said the ride was very firm over bad surfaces. I'd be interested to know what people thought.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated as I don't know a great deal about these.

Thanks
