Default 5 months and 4000 miles in...

Greetings and salutations, once again, my original thread is buried way back, so thought I’d start a new one based on a few months down the line. I don’t know if I’ve been particularly lucky but all I can say is that the XC90 has been totally faultless. No issues with dash/window rattles, iPod USB connectivity a dream (I have the Audi AMI in my company A6 and have given up with it it’s so unreliable), has not used a drop of oil (my A6 goes through a litre a month, admittedly at a much higher mileage), and nothing has broken, failed, squeaked or rattled elsewhere.

Using the footbrake is second nature, the dealer service for a minor recall (manual gear linkage check at Taggarts in Glasgow) was great, took the car in and they completed the check in less than half the allocated time, much appreciated since I had two young kids with me. And finally I cannot praise the space and practicality enough, everything from the tailgate (handy for kiddy changing and loading/unloading) to seat flexibility and load space (the guy at my local Halfords was astonished when I managed to get a boxed 440 litre Thule roofbox in the back with the seats folded) is awesome.

As someone has said elsewhere, there really is no match for this car as a value proposition, and my own ownership experience has been flawless so far.

Hi, I have owned my XC90 Active almost 8 months now and have had no issues what so ever.

The car has been a pleasure for the 7k miles we have done so far.
