CD Player Sticking

The CD player in my 2004 XC90 keeps sticking. It plays for various amounts of time sometimes normally but often a couple of minures and but then stops. Sometimes changing tracks restarts it but normally I have to change CD, it then normally stops again every few minutes.

This happens on all CDs and the CDs being played are relatively new originals. I've had a similar problem on a previous car but only on long journeys, 4+ hours, but it doesn't seem to matter in this case.

Any ideas?

There are a number of things that can cause this
The most likely from what you describe is the laser might be dirty and picks up tracks intm.

If you have further problems you can contact us or post the unit to us for repair
