  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Hi Guys,Water pump for my B200F 1990 Estate, Genuine or alternative.? Best price and where from. cheers in advance..

10 years ago I would say genuine. Now you go to the dealer order your new pump. Hand over a wad of cash, get a lovely Volvo box but with a piece of crap in it. Fit it then about 3-18 months later take it off because its failed and question why you blew all that money on a genuine part that is not fit for purpose.

Other option is a cheap factors pump to do the same but less expensive

Next option is look for a good Hepu pump but some of them are suffering the same fate as Volvo

Or go for SKF one (you know the parent company of Volvo) and get a pump that is about the same quality as what volvo fitted in teh factory
