Default Volvo fault codes and help request

Can anyone help on the following problems and advise if there's anything I can do myself to repair rather than main dealer prices?

CCM-0040 Air Quality Sensor Internal fault- may explain why my aircon system became smelly last year after no problem for three years. Dealer said the sensor for diverting external/recirc air is not causing the flap to open/close. Is there easy access to this flap to see if its just stuck? Also checked whether the 'after blow/run' function on the aircon unit could be turned on with VIDA but apparently MY07 onwards doesn't have this function and it is solely on older model cars.

ECM-940F Brake Pedal Sensor - Faulty signal I'm guessing that this is the same as the sensor in this link and therefore should be easy to replace? http://www.v70xc.com/resources/how-t...-replacing.pdf

There were also quite a few non active codes found which I presume don't need worrying about if they are non active? I was specifically worried about TCM-E000 Control module communication Faulty Communication and
CEM 1A61 Communication with TCM control module Signal missing...
