Default ForSale (£2,000):XC70, 7 Seat, Garmin satnav, apple carplay

Volvo XC70 (V70XC) 7 seat, Satnav (Extremely Rare).

5 Speed Manual, good runner, 10 month MOT, 153,000 miles

Viewings welcome and price is for quick sale due to already having a new car with no space for this one

Excellent service history with only the highest quality Mobil 1 fully synthetic motor oil.

It is with regret that I must part ways with my Volvo but I unfortunately need to downsize. This is a truly excellent example of this model and it would be perfect for anyone wanting to tow a trailer or have the off road performance of a larger car with the practicality of an estate.

As you can tell from the specification this car has been maintained to a premium and nothing has been done ‘on the cheap’. All work has been done by a Volvo specialist to a very high standard.

I have paperwork to prove all points listed below and you will notice that all of the ‘big jobs’ that would worry you about a car of this age have already been carried out.

Car has two sets of keys and a complete logbook

Features

- Premium Sound system:

Pioneer SPH DA-120 Stereo is the latest in car audio technology and features state of the art ‘Apple CarPlay’ to display all of your phone apps on screen. This cost me £499 plus installation 6 months ago! The speakers are the Volvo premium sound system featuring ‘Dolby pro logic’ speakers and amp to give a truly enjoyable listening experience.

Steering wheel controls have been added which are from a V70 with ‘Carphone’ option and again this is extremely had to get hold of, these allow you to skip tracks, adjust volume and hang up/ answer the phone.

The reason for the stereo upgrade was the original Volvo stereo had no ‘AUX’ input and I needed something that would integrate better with my phone. This also has a HDMI input if you wish to view any films (when it is safe to do so).

- Custom Garmin sat nav:

This car has an extremely rare pop up screen and a custom Garmin sat nav (GVN 53) which is far superior to the system supplied by Volvo. In total this cost £400 to install 3 months ago!

- Tow bar:

This was fitted last year for £350 and has been used once! it features a protector plate and a new 13pin electrical connector which is the latest standard for trailers and caravans.

- Cycle carriers:

I am happy to include the two Thule 591 premium cycle carriers as this would be the perfect car for a cycling enthusiast, these cost me £300 for the pair.

- Michelin Cross Climate tyres:

These are arguably the best tyres you can buy and provide exceptional grip in all weathers, this both have good tread, the rear has Pirelli scorpions which also have very good tread.

- 7 Seats (An option in high demand due to only a handful being around)

- Gearbox has no issues and feels tight

- Full Leather interior

- Heated seats

- Cross country alloy wheels

- 4-wheel drive for a true off road experience

- Sunroof

- Dual zone climate control

- Pet/Luggage matt to keep boot clean/protected

Work Carried out

- REPLACED HEAD GASKET and re-machined head! (141100mls)

- NEW CLUTCH! (140409mls)

- NEW CATALYTIC CONVERTER! (147961mls)

- New exhaust (147961mls)

- All brakes have just been replaced with premium pads!

- New brake disks all around (141177mls)

- Refurbished electronic throttle module with software upgrade (141178mls)

- Air conditioning re-gas and clean including pollen filter (141178mls) – The A/C in this car is exceptionally good and there are vents in the rear also.

- Turbo serviced (140839mls)

- New engine mount (141178mls)

- New front suspension arms and bushes (141559mls)

- Full engine clean:

This was done by a company called ‘Terraclean’ who use a state of the art system to deeply clean your engine and bring new life into older cars. More information can be found about this here: http://www.terraclean.co.uk/ This cost £136 (141400mls)

- Plus other smaller standard maintenance jobs that I have receipts for

Negative Points

- The engine warning light is illuminated due to a faulty oxygen sensor (Error code 180A). I have been quoted £100 to fix.

- The alarm system is due a service and so this message will appear periodically when you start the car. This can be rectified by replacing the siren unit, I have been quoted £150 including labour.

- There are several small chips in the paint from driver’s doors in car parks which I have tried my best to highlight.

- There is a small dent in the passenger’s side door which was from another car in a supermarket car park who did not leave a note (very annoying!).

- The suspension sometimes a bit squeaky which is entirely normal for a car of this age.

- There is a small oil leak that seems to only appear every month or so and is likely to be an O ring somewhere in the line.

- The rear door cards are a little bit tatty where kids have trapped the seatbelt clips in the door and from general wear and tear. (pictured)

- Rear passenger seat has some stitching that has come apart but is not noticeable. (pictured)

- Rear passenger side alloy wheel could do with some attention as the edges are slightly tatty (pictured)

- Rear wiper has a slight smear mark (pictured)

I was going to get the above points fixed next month but work has been very busy this month leaving me with no time to get it done and only one driveway space (already filled by new car). None of the points affect the car or how it drives they are just minor points that you should know about.

In summary you are looking at a very safe, reliable XC70 made when Volvo were truly Swedish! As a car it in an excellent example of how good something can be when its well looked after and I hope it brings many years of joy to its next owner!

Delivery (Same day or next day)

I am happy to deliver the car to anywhere in mainland UK for 40p a mile away from BS495BD
