Well
thanks Volvo for nothing!!

I went to Volvo Dundee Friday morning, 9am sharp, and had to order the retainer clamp for the oil pipe, and a new jubilee for the top water hosem as they do not stock them. Was promised they would be there for 4pm Friday. I said, fine, will be back in Sat Morning

Got up, drove to dundee, and yes, no parts! Not even a record of my order. Now they say it will be Monday! How can they be incompetant like that?

SO I stormed out, and said SOD YOU ALL, and promptly sent an email to RUFE for the parts

Problem now, their incompetance has now meant I have to hire a car for a week, as the 850 is off the road till i get a £5 clamp. So I am £400 out of pocket thanks to VOLVO DUNDEE!!!!!

way to go on customer service

Yeh, he is a whizz. I can even get 'light weight' stuff cheaper than here in France, even with P&P!

Heavy Stuff though, I get stuffed by postage. Recently ordered some brake pads (front & rear). Rufes price for Volvo items was cheaper than 'copy parts' are here. Alas I ended up with Bendix pads via a site here, purely down to postage pushing Rufe out of it for me Would normally wait till someone is en-route, but me curent pads are in danger of hitting my discs with the rivets

Next time folks are on there way here tho', I can feel a mega-order coming on LOL

@ Cumbrianmale, have you a trailer? LOL

Glad to hear you've got it sorted.

Don't forget to top the oil back up.

indeed, a new fill of Semi-synth oil, and a 20 min test drive, inc some hard turbo runs, and all seems well, no more leaks
