Default S60 D5 bad to start from cold

I have a 2006 S60 D5 that's bad to start from cold. once warm it starts no problem for the rest of the day. anyone have any ideas?

it could be internal leakage in one or two injectors resulting in the fuel pressure leaking away back to the tank when cranking .. not very common on the 185 bhp engines though . The other option is perhaps the electric priming pump in the fuel tank isnt pumping fuel up to the main pump on the engine when you turn the ignition on ...

It is covered here somewhere witha search
If you look on top of the injectors you will see a thin rubber pipe attached to each injector , remove the wire clip and pull them all off .
turn over the engine on the starter , if it starts dont worry but have someone ready to turn it off when you shout .
look for fuel coming out of the ports on top ,
normal is just a very small drip or two , if you see any small fountains issuing noticably more fuel than the others , those are the faulty injectors ..

Try a search for "leak off test"...very similar to what Clan describes, but using pipe and test tubes to measure the leakage.
