V70 T5 - LPG DIY possible?

Hi all,

A few scoping questions for my 2000 V70 T5.......

I see there is a lot of supporting knowledge on here, is there enough support to help me do a DIY install? Or has anybody done one recently?

I am confident enough to give this a go, Ive fitted LPG to v8 classic Range Rovers (its a doddle on those) and have installed about 7 megasquirt efi kits to various cars but it helps when you can call upon people who know when you should place a wire to the "squigly" valve thats unique to this car!

Any thoughts on whose kit? or are there people out there who can do it for only a few quid more than I can buy a kit?

I'm in the process of fitting an LPG Kit to an 850 T5 so not that far off. As for companies mine came from Tinley Tech only reason is I've fitted several LPG kits and Tinley Tech aren't the cheapest but I like the customer service back up they have and the quality of the kits is ok unlike some you can buy off Ebay.

Classicswede is the LPG expert on here

I do offer dedicated Volvo conversion kits and can obviously offer full support with the installation. Using one of my kits you can be sure to have all the correct parts that will fit and work properly.

Diy is not for most but sounds like you should have no problems with it.

Out of interest how much for the complete kit inc postage?

The T5 kit is £825 including delivery with a 70 ltr tank

For tinley's version that would £942

Do you offer the split payment system offered by Tinley Tech?

Yes I can offer staged payment as they do. Anyone intrested in that would need to contact me first to work out the best plan for them

Engine doesn't rattle anymore
