The photos on the listing do not quite match those shown on the BSR website for PPC 3: http://en.bsr.se/product/ppc_3_diagnostic_system_505150
The item being sold on ebay is the same as mine and has no specific model number. The manual refers to it as PPC Diagnostic System. The only reference to 'ver 3' is the iteration of the English manual. Regardless of all that, this little box of tricks will clear all DTC's including the SRS warning caused by unplugging the climate control panel with the ignition on. While VIDA/VICE is the dogs danglies, you can keep a PPC in the glovebox which you can't with a laptop so well worth getting one just in case you get stuck. |

I have vida/dice and it's absolutely necessary for later cars, but I also have a PPC in the car for convenience. If I didn't already have one I'd have nipped out to Livingston with the cash already. I've seen them sell for well over twice the asking price.

There seem to be a few of us then who carry a PPC and keep a DICE unit at home! Mine sits nicely under the forward floor hatch in the cargo area of my XC70 - more room in the glovebox for junk that way!

I must be lucky never really needed it that often I don't travel far until my holidays and then I check for any codes etc before I go away
The main reason I bought it in the first place was I had trouble with injectors and the gearbox so it saved me a lot of money knowing exactly what was wrong, As I mentioned earlier it's no good for my addition to the family so someone else can get the use out it |
