Default 2007 C30 D5 - 019 & "engine system service required"

Hi guys,
I've just taken ownership of my late step father's C30 D5, he bought it new back in 07, so I know the full service history of the car.
He'd been quite ill going into the new year sadly, so the car hadn't been driven much in 2021.

I replaced the intake map sensor yesterday, as that had brought up a few codes on my odb2 reader, and then proceeded to break one of the headlight washer covers in the process, doh.

Drove it back to my place with the error:
019 & "engine system service required"

I don't think this 2.4ltr, 5 pot diesel version uses EOLYS right?

The mot basically runs out tomorrow, so I don't think this one is a fail as there aren't any dashboard 'hard' errors now. But obviously I'd like to resolve this issue ASAP.
I keep seeing people that had reported oil level issues, so maybe this car didn't receive the volvo software update.

Cheers for any info!

Weird, after driving around a while today that error has gone.

Maybe oil level high from excessive DPF regen cycles putting diesel in your sump. I had this on my C70 D5 back in 2011. Worth checking the oil level on the dipstick. I changed the oil on mine and it cleared itself after a few journeys.

I agree with Ian. If you change the oil make sure it isn't above half full.

i have had a c30 drive 1.6 for the last 9 yrs and get this message occasionally. I top up the screenwash and it goes away, even if only a couple of pints are needed.
