Default V 40 seemingly random alarm

Hi all, it seems that I have a fault that could be relatively common if my searching is up to scratch & I am seeing advice/help.

I get seemingly random alarm activations & I think it is the bonnet switch as I occasionally see the warning that it is open when it isn't.

I am going to have a look at the obvious this afternoon & am wondering (in case that is not the issue) if anyone can post a wiring diagram for the 2015 v40 D2 alarm system?

Alternatively, if there are any adjustments I can do which may help.

Many thanks.

If anyone comes across this & wonders what the problem/fix was, here goes.

As expected the issue was the bonnet switch.

What I found was that the "loops" that come from the bonnet to latch into the bonnet catches were both a bit out of alignment.

Both were off to one side & one (the one with the switch on it) was off too far forward meaning that it was only catching the latch right on its rearmost corner, so not fully making it all of the time.

With everything adjusted as they should be the alarm is now not alarming randomly.

Good to know as I've seen a lot of posts from people (mainly on the V40 crew Facebook Group) about this type of issue.

Will also come in handy for me when it inevitably occurs.
