Default Douglas Metal Finishing Ltd

Hi All,

Just wondering whether any Forum member has used Douglas Metal Finishing Ltd (aka Douglas Chroming) of New Cross, London, SE14 for rechroming work, and if so how they found the company's standard of workmanship and pricing. Their website emphasises that they work on classic cars. I'm looking to have some rechroming done on my 1966 1800S and this is a local company to me, which I'd therefore like to support. To start with, I am interested in having the two door 'hockey sticks', one front wing spear and the nose cone rechromed. Should anyone have any freedback on this company, including some idea of the costs involved, I would be extremely grateful.

Thanks in advance.

All good wishes to you all,

Peter Almond

I used London Chroming, think they have changed their name to Capital Chrome:

Address: 735 Old Kent Rd, London SE15 1JL

Phone: 020 7639 6434

They were top notch and I was told they are about the best in the country.
