Default Windscreen trim security

Hi all,

On the way home this evening on the motorway I noticed a new feature on the passenger side of my car, a 2012 S60 - this was the side windscreen trim flapping in the wind!

When I stopped to investigate, I found there were 4 lugs that I thought the trim would clip into but it doesn't seem to be a very "positive" click - anyone any experience of this? Do I need a screwdriver or some special way of reattaching this permanently (other than tec7 or superglue!)

Thanks all, as ever....

Default trim

have you had the windscreen replaced. this happened to mine and the worker did not place the trim back on securely so it may be worth seeing if there is scope for you to firmly push it on yourself

Not recently. Back last year there was some work done to reseal it but nothing in months.

I've tried as best I can - I expected a click or to sense the clip engaging, and nothing. Will have a look again in the morning!

Yeah I picked up a couple of clips from the dealer today, simple as that pretty much. They should click in nicely, as the new ones do. For future reference!
