Headlamp wiper
Hi all, my car is 1993 960 2.9 estate. Coming back from a journey over the weekend, my drivers side headlamp wiper came off; not just the wiper, but the wiper together with the bit that pushes onto the wiper arm small washer pipe. Anybody got any old washers blades either for the 960 or 940 please?

The parts are relatively cheap. The design changes. Useful to put up a pic of the side you didn't loose!
You should be able to get the plastic bit that connects to the arm (depending on design) from Volvo and the blades are common. If the arm is of the aero style with the plastic cover that might be more problematic. Bob |

What Bob said! ^^^^^
Because there were a few different designs, trying to help until we know what the other one is like is pure guesswork. I think from the sound of things you'll most likely have the shorter (4.5"?) wiper blade that fits the majority of the 9xx range and a lot of Saabs too, the plastic mount it sits in and connects it to the wiper arm also contains the washer jet, fairly sure these are still available too. Assuming that is that yours are the "common" fitment ones!

Thank you both, and yes, it is the shorter 4.5" arm, cranked at one end and I think used also on the 940. Because they are cranked, then they are also "handed". I'll talk to Steve at Braydons.
Again, thanks. |

Braydons
I just read the post where Braydons was mentioned. Is this garage still operating and if so where? I started using them in 2002 and enjoyed so much the trip there, but I was under the opinion they had closed down.
