General: - Oh no, I`ve bought a D5 V70

I`ve only gone & done it, bought a 53 plate V70 D5 SE. 54k miles 1 owner. Bi Xenons, sunroof, leccy passenger seat, FSH, new tyres on the back, new headlight glass, phone cradle taken out and a service from a Volvo dealer.

I`m rather looking forward to doing a bit of tinkering now, I mean when I get it

Heated leather here I come!!!!!!

Great car the D5. I am sure you will enjoy it. Once you get deliverly you should post some photo`s of your new car for us all.

I`ll have to spend a while getting it up to my usual standard! Wheels off & a clean, rain X the windows & a clean & polish and leather clean using some meguiers stuff

I`ve just got off the phone to confirm the sale & just have to swap my non dating (snob

) plate to the D5 (so the nieghbours think it`s newer

) so I imagine it`ll be a couple of weeks at least by the time I get everything sorted & the holidays over with.
As soon as I get it & finish cleaning I`ll post piccys!!

Well according to the sales guy the bi xenon headlights my car has the headlight glass can be swapped rather than the full light unit. The inside of the glass looks like it`s got a little bit of frost on it so he said he`d change them for me

Manual of course! I don`t want to destroy the huge mpg I`ll get by having an auto!! My last 2 cars have been auto`s so it`s not as if I`m scared of something new!
