Garage recommendations; South London, Surrey, Kent

Hi all,
I’ve got a problem with my xc90 ignition so I need to find a garage that we can trust but also looking for a good reliable garage to look after it for servicing etc on going.

We are based in Croydon so could get anywhere south London, or Surrey, north sussex, west Kent etc.

Any recommendations massively appreciated! Thanks.

Bought my first S80 from McCarthy cars. The alarm unit was buggered and they were going to send it to the Ford guys in Croydon.. Worth a try? I have mine serviced by Parkside Volvo, Orpington. Or there is a Volvo "specialist" in Camberley. Not used them, but pass by regularly and not seen any fights!

You mean Camberley Independent Volvo Centre. It’s a father and son operation and Paul the Dad must be 30+ years ex Volvo tech.

I’ve been using them for many years and always had top quality service. I’m based in Kingston (25 miles away) but leave the car with them and have brekkie in Tesco, then a bit of shopping on the retail park, by which time my car is serviced.

Very keen hourly rate and much, much cheaper than my nearest Indy - Carpenters near Hampton Court. It a a little faff to drive 25 miles, but I do it as I get great service at a very reasonable price.

Could try this.

Frankly, all I had do e in there was traction/geometry, but over the years I had lots of good advice from owner.
(We used to meet at corner shop, each on the way to his work)
