Default XC90 Wanted

I'm in the market for an XC90, budget of 11-12k. Prefer a manual, must be diesel and low or average miles. What can I expect for that sort of money. ? Anyone have one for sale ?

Thanks
Regards
Steve

May be tempted to sell mine as I am thinking of a V50 instead. She is 56 plate, black, auto, grey leather, tow bar and side steps with about 56,000 on the clock. I will speak to the other half about it.

94000 miles is nothing on a D5 if well looked after. I just bought one with 125k on the clock and looking forward to another good few years on that.

quite agree - i bought one with 120k, sold it at 180k and it was still running like a 30k car :-)

I was in the same situation as you, Ushes. Same budget, looking for a manual SE XC90, not too high on miles and pref one owner with a good service history. After 5 months of searching and a lot of haggling, and within budget, I bought a 57 black SE manual, 65k miles, almost entire FVSH, with good exterior, good tyres but average interior. Problems that I'll have to fix are: clicking front suspension (presume half shafts joints), no AM radio (how I miss talk sport and 5 live), sticking / corroded bootlid handle, small cracks to two light lenses, and quite a lot of marked interior trim. But am I disappointed? No, I'm not. In fact I can't wipe the smile off my face. I got it inspected by the RAC before I bought it, (recommended), it's a big vehicle and there's a lot to go wrong on it, so employing the trained eye, I found, was worth the money. Good luck.

Hi Steve, I have decided to sell mine as I have my eye on a nice V50. Briefly it is:
2006 '56'plate.
2.4D5 SE 185 bhp automatic
Black with privacy glass
60,000 miles
FSH last 2 with independent Volvo garage
Full grey leather interior
Verdestein winter tyres
Tow bar
Volvo side steps
Factory fitted Bluetooth
Winter pack/convenience pack
New discs and pads fitted all round recently.

Looking for £11,000 I will advertise in the sales section as soon as I have chance to wash it and get some photos taken! Regards, Adrian.
