Well I got the rear drums off after making a puller. Replaced the cylinders and the shoes.

Pulled the front brakes apart and the linings were coming away so ordered up a set for the front as well.

All fitted now, bled up and working.

Also.. car is now on UK registration plates! And is back up for sale!

I now own this PV544. Its original from the bottom to the top. First plans were to fit a big engine and a jag front clip but its just too original to mess about with. So going to tidy up the metal and get it mot'd. I understand that it is not law to MOT, but with so many cars on the road these days, and a high percentage of idiot drivers, you would be daft to drive round in a car without an MOT.
Might do an amazon disc conversion up front as this can be reversed, maybe slip in a tuned b18 for a while, if i can get it and a box in without any mods. The sport was supposed to have 85hp out the box anyway so maybe try and hunt some of those out of the original motor.
Otherwise its quite a quirky car as it is.

Congratulations. Looks like a nice, solid, honest car despite all the obvious knocks and scrapes. I do like the look of these PV's and it would be good to keep its originality and not do too much to it. Maybe just replace the front wing and carry out a few mechanical upgrades that would improve safety and performance.
