Question does this sound unusual?

I have a 2000 s40 with 190,000 miles on it. I got it at an auction 7,000 miles ago. I was having catalyic converter problems about 500 miles ago. It was the usual, bad mileage, sluggish, and would even die at idle occasionally. I put a new technology called bitron in the oil and gas and after 1/4 of a tank of treated gas my engine light for my converter turned off, and the car runs like a bat out of hell. They have done lab tests with it and say it reduces hydrocarbon emissions (unburnt fuel) by 90%.

Before I used the bitron I wouldve laughed if anyone told me it would clean out my cat. converter but since It was all I used, then it must be the culpret. Has anyone ever heard of such a story? Could it have been a freak accident?

untill someone provides me with an alternate explanation I must asume it was bitron. And if it worked on my car and saved me from having to buy a new cat., then it stands to reason it would work on any car.

First of all welcome to the forum.
You seem to be overjoyed with Bi-Tron. Looking at some specs and sites it looks to be another Slick 50 type stuff. It also 'sounds' like you may be a salesman of the item, in which case there are proper avenues to go through on the forum.3 posts all about Bi-Tron.
Personally I do not believe an additive can make the sort of difference which you are claiming it has made to your engine/gearbox, but that is just me. lots of additives have been extensively tested and very few, if any, do what they claim.
Please enjoy your stay on the forum and I am sure if you need any help with your car there will be plenty here to advise and help.
