Just wondered if anyone else has issues where VOC can't contact your Volvo.
Also told me last night that "as I hadn't moved it for a week it wouldn't bother connecting to save battery", when I had used it 24hrs before.., bit disconcerting when it's last " known" status was unlocked (although I kow it is locked)..

Yes I've had that happen. I tried again after about 30mins and it worked.

I had my car delivered from Lincoln to Kent on the 14th October, I didn't get a proper hand over but at least the driver noticed that the Sat Nav wasn't working. I then found out that Stoneacre had failed to check this and VOC pre delivery. The software hadn't been installed and then after lots of arguing my original dealer relented and allowed Lipscombe in kent to fix it. They had my car for two days and managed to do the sat nav but the VOC still isn't working and VOC say my car registration number hasn't been registered!!!!!

Nice to update this thread with how far we have come, might have taken three years but technology is trying to keep up, even at volvo!

So after all we got remote start, renewed my subscription at the three year point for another 2 years and cost me about £54 for the next two years. Worth it for the safety aspect alone.

I'm sure Volvo will include on call as standard at some point or maybe they have to from a certain date?

I think the latest version on VoC. Only with automatic boxes (sadly for me).

We all got it it last christmas (ok maybe not all sorry Nigel forgot about that one!), just after when the new XC90's were allowed it. Have you got a suitable smartphone iphone 5c and above I think from memory. I'm sure the tech spec is there somewhere...
MY15 onwards with VOC.
