Default Active bending headlights 2009 xc60

Hi all, looking for some help with fault diagnosis. I have the headlight service message coming up on every start up. The headlight lamps are good and they go through the levelling sequence so I think the issue is the bending movement linked to steering. The button for changing over to rhd is also flashing. Can anyone tell me where the sensors are, I assume they are related to the steering angle.
Thanks
Chris

You need to get it into somewhere with VIDA to get the codes read, in most cases it will tell you exactly what the problem is and you can test the headlamp mechanisms one by one.

Swapping parts without knowing the codes is likely to be an expensive exercise in poke and hope...

But yes it takes an input from the steering angle sensor.
