c30 1.6d dpf issue
Hi all, first post (and its a problem post)
Looking for confirmation from more experienced people really. I've had a c30 1.6d drive for about 6 weeks now(bought from dealer who is being awkward to say the least) and have been having issue with what i think is a blocked dpf with ash. I have one of the little icarsoft diag tools and found there was no pressure from dpf, after a check found melted/corroded pipe at bottom of dpf running to the sensor, fixed that, getting pressure now. On longer runs on motorway, 50/60 mph car will start a regen getting to around 600 degrees but only for around 10mins always, then temp drops into 2/300s and will have fault code 2A40 PARTICULATE TRAP. When idle there is about 4/5 hpa and steady 2000 revs anything from 40 hpa upwards. Also the eolys tank seems to be showing 1/15. Car has 80 000 miles, 4164T engine and i'm almost certain the dpf hasn't been replaced or eolys refilled. Trying to get dealer to sort this as i feel it shouldn't have been sold to me in this condition. Thanks for any advice. |
