Or measure the circumference of the disc in mm and divide by 3.142 to give you the diameter

Finally got my 11 and 12mm hex sockets yesterday so set about the brakes last night. So, mine is definitely 11mm. June 2016 (MY17) D4 AWD

Took a fair bit of persuading to get the calipers off but job done in around 90mins. 3-4mm left on all pads so not as urgent as the garage had made out. Still, nearly 64k on those pads so pretty happy considering it's heavier, more powerful and automatic compared to my previous V50 Drive
