Cheers for heads up! Regular 1/2 drive 10mm socket with extension fit ok or does in need to be thinner?

If I remember it needs a tube spanner. I had one for fitting taps on kitchen sink. A couple of quid on the 'bay'

Assume access via removing the triangular shaped panel with the small speaker on inside of door?

Yup but be careful as the plastic has lugs on it as these fit into the door frame. Try to ease it off by working around the edge as these locating pins get very brittle.

Ask me how I know!

Lol cheers, been there done that before, any mirror I've ever changed been the same, just relieved its not access through the door panel!!

New mirror fitted, was just 1 13mm nut, had to loosen the door panel off to unclip the socket.
Only downside was didn't realise the mirror was colour coded dark grey I'll get it painted satin black at some point
