Genuine Volvo Pegasus 18"x 8J wheels
Just testing the market for:
4x Genuine Volvo Pegasus 18"x 8J wheels. Not the cheaper aftermarket copies. These are only slightly used for road testing tyres by a well known organisation. They are immaculate, apart for balance weight marks. 2 come with Michelin Pilot Sport ps2 225/40/18 ZR tyres with 7mm of tread. The other 2 come with Continental Contact Sport 2 225/40/18 92Y tyres with 6mm of tread. These tyres come with only 8mm of tread when new. According to FRF these rims retail @ £2319.45, less forum discount. I will not split the set & am only asking for £800 with the tyres. The tyres alone, brand new cost approx £130 apiece. If in doubt about being genuine, zoom in on the photos attached. These will be on the bay of e as of Monday. Any comments or interest?? Last edited by 850v70t5r; Sep 18th, 2010 at 22:14. I've had some bad results off aftermarket alloys in the past, including wheel balance probs and distorted rims. IE incurable judder. |

i feel sorry for the donor car, as whatever is going to get to replace them is never going to look as good.
i have a set on mine, albeit with kerbing additions from the previous owner, but i wouldn't change to another style, so will probably get them refurbed and hopefully they'll look as good as these. |
