V70 2005 SatNav DVD set

I have the 2005 UK and Europe NAVTEQ 3 disc DVD set for the V70 DVD satnav system for sale. Part no. T1000-9524C. Ref: 30752548 0525 for GBP £50.00 +P&P

It includes the update to allow you to receive Traffic Information that is displayed on the maps, along with redirects when the system detects a traffic problem.

I have updated to the May 2009 release. For info, the next release will be November 2009.

This will work in MY2005 V70s with the factory fitted Volvo RTI DVD SatNav system where the DVD reader is embedded in the rear nearside side panel. I cannot say if it will work in other models but there are plenty of people with more knowledge than me who I am sure will tell you.

If it helps, the disc states:
S40N/V50/S60/V70N/S80/XC90

could you tell me the ref no of the dvd unit in the back ,

My daughter has a S60 ,2003 and is looking to upgrade the discs in hers .

Not too far from you either

Hi puls8r, I will check what I can see and reply. Providing it is a DVD system and not the CD system, it should work OK.

I'm no expert, but if your car has the DVD player and not the CD version, then it should work OK.

I checked, puls8r, but there is nothing on the DVD player except "Volvo RTI System DVD".

Hi, I have an MY02 S80 and need the RTI DVD's but were told the part number for the ones I need is 31285852 and this agrees with the Volvo Maps site which is

I cant seem to find the part number for yours to see if it's compatable with my S80 otherwise I would have these off you ASAP. Any ideas !!

All I can say is that the same site gives the same part number (31285852) as yours for my MY05 year V70.

As this DVD set was the first to have the Traffic Information included and it worked OK in my car, I am confident that it will work in your car. I think that the serial number on the discs must be a "red herring".
