440 Head Gasket
Hi, I've had my '95 440 1.9 TD for about 2 years and now the head gasket has gone and needs replacing, obviously, just wondering of anyone here has any tips regarding this?
specifically are there any major things i should look out for on the way? or is there anything vitally important to do on this? I've changed a head gasket before but on a different car, this will be the first time i done anything major to the Volvo. Any help will be appreciated |

Hi are you sure your head gasket is gone? I recently thought mine had gone too but it turned out to be the water pump leaking and sucking in air which I got replaced easy.
If your head gasket is gone more than likely the water will mix in with the oil and you will get alot of brown puss comming out of the dipstick and when u release the sump plug
