Split XC90 / XC60 Threads - Page 5

We are aware of the issue and a descision was being held off until the 'Free the XC60' faction had gained enough support to make it a worthwhile split and not result in a 'ghost-town' area of the Forum. The final descision will be taken this coming weekend when we have a meeting in person as opposed to our more common internet chats. I'll post back our descision early next week.

P.S. It would have got more attention in the 'Forum and Website Support area as that is the area to raise Forum running issues. From my point of view I've been ignoring this thread as the title and area don't make it immediately obvious that it's about a forum issue as opposed to a car issue. Unfortunately none of us can be online 24hrs a day and read every thread so we tend to focus more on specific areas that are more likely to demand our attention.

Good news! We will be creating a seperate section for the XC60 in the near future. However, when it is finally up and running we will need to transfer over all the current XC60 related threads which will be very time consuming and, to be brutally honest, a pain in various intimate body parts. As such it will be done as and when we get the time/inclination so it may be a month or so before everything has been moved over. Posts containing XC90 and XC60 info will have to be copied so your section will not be fully active overnight. You can help us by using the 'report post' icon (the red triangle with an exclamation mark) to alert us to those posts that need to be moved to the new area. Just click on the button and when it asks for a reason for the report type something like 'to be moved to new xc60 section'.

That is good news, maybe in the meantime all new posts should be titled XC60 or XC 90....?
Should simplify the move when it's starts...
