Smile Update on my 460gle

Hi all, update on my Volvo 460, thanks for all the kind comments on the Volvo 460, a big thank you to Paffel who took time to come and view, a nice genuine young guy, friendly and knowledgeable and a pleasure to meet.
After a look around the Volvo and pointing out the air intake hose had come adrift at one end, my attempt to gently slide it back on resulted in a split, thanks Paul ( new one fitted Sunday morning) a drive out around some country lane’s a few hills, duel carriageway and back home.
All good and Paul made the offer to buy :-) he said he would buy it, no problem but, and that was his observation about me not being 100% in parting with the 460, his advice was spot on. I only fancied a change but could not make my mind up what to buy, S40, S60, V70, saloon, estate, T5, even had a look at a really nice 240, how about a 480, round and round in circles, driving the wife mad with, how about this one , or this, here’s a nice one, even a jaguar s type and a rover 75 ( yes I know ) after thinking long and hard I have took Paul’s advice, the Volvo will stay with me for the time being.
It will get taxed soon, serviced and well looked after so if anyone looks on How many left you will know this little beaut is still on the road and the good news is, if it comes up for sale next year it will be even cheaper and I should have made my mind up by then :-)
Thanks also for the interest from other members and apologies for the long winded write up.
What a nice bunch people you are :-) Merry Christmas to you all and have a great New Year.
Many thanks, Derek
